Hi, I am Alexis!

I am a third year student here at Pasadena City College. With that being said, I love physical activities. This includes snowboarding, skateboarding, martial arts, and rock climbing. Other things I love are sleep, baking/cooking, playing musical instruments, and learning new things. I would say that I have a new interest at least a couple times each week.

Snowboarding and martial arts have brought me an immense amount of joy lately. I am pretty new to both of them, but I am so excited to progress. Every time I am on the mountain, I feel free and refreshed. There is just something so addicting about seeing snow. I do not know what it is. Since I am a computer science major, I sit for way too long, so it is nice to have activities that push my body to be more flexible and powerful. I totally recommend either of them. Something I would love to try is dirt biking, so if any of you are willing to show me the way, I would be so appreciative.

My Major is Computer Science.

Computer Science is awesome because you always have to be willing to learn new things. My goal is to empower other women to join in on the fun. STEM is the way of the future!
